THE CORRIDORS OF FAITH (I)

ROMANS 10:6-8 “But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;”

KEYWORD: Faith is the password that activates God’s attention.

Every day, each of us walks steps along different paths of our own choosing. These paths can be likened to corridors – narrow columns that guide our movement from one point to another. In fact, our steps can often be traced, following a particular route so familiar that, for some, it could be followed even blindfolded.
In the same way, there are corridors of faith in our spiritual journey, defined routes in which we walk with God, guided by His promises, His Word, and our unwavering trust in Him. The question is this: do you know what it means to walk in the corridor of faith?
Faith is more than just a biblical term. It is the very principle by which God has operated since the beginning. From the creation of the heavens and the earth in Genesis to the ongoing unfolding of our lives today, all things came into being through the words of faith spoken by God. Each day, God’s route is trodden by faith alone. This same principle is now extended to us as His children.
Faith is not optional; it is essential. Without it, actions, words, and prayers fall flat. As Hebrews 11:6 reminds us, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Faith is the password that activates God’s attention. It causes situations to respond, prayers to move, and blessings to manifest. Any action taken apart from faith is outside the will of God and cannot yield His favour.
Walking in a corridor of faith is not a one-time act; it is a conscious, daily commitment to believe in God’s Word, trust His promises, and obey His leading. Each step requires intentionality, diligence, and a heart tuned to His Spirit. The corridors of faith are narrow, yes, but they lead to life, victory, and abundance in Christ. Choose today to step fully into that corridor. Do not lean on sight, emotions, or human reasoning, but let faith guide every step you take. When you do this, you will move with assurance, stability, and the peace that comes from walking with God. Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of faith. Teach me to walk consciously in the corridors of faith each and every day. Help me to trust Your Word, obey Your voice, and depend fully on Your guidance. Strengthen my heart to walk in faith even when the path seems uncertain, and let every step I take glorify Your Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
