PASTOR MARTINS OMONUA
Daniel 7:25 “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
KEYWORD: As Christians we must stay unwavering in our faith, no matter the pressure.
The scripture above says, “He will wear out the saints…”—which means to afflict, torture, harass, and weaken them. One of Satan’s strategies in these last days is to unleash so much evil in the world that it pressures God’s people into giving up their faith. He seeks to wear out the saints by manipulating the “times and laws”—shaping the systems of the world to make it increasingly difficult for Christians to stand firm in their faith and convictions.
The opening scripture reveals that during the Great Tribulation, the Antichrist will unleash great wickedness, persecution, and suffering to break the saints. Sin will be so rampant that many will no longer recognize it as sin. Wickedness, immorality, and lawlessness will become a norm, which is why he is called the son of perdition—the embodiment of sin itself. When what is evil is celebrated and what is good is condemned, even you, as a Christian, if not careful, may unknowingly start conforming to the ways of the world.
2 Peter 2:6-8 (KJV) “And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)” This passage recounts the experience of Lot, Abraham’s nephew, who lived in Sodom. His righteous soul was vexed daily by the wickedness and lawlessness of the people around him. Seeing and hearing such evil daily can weaken a Christian’s convictions and lead to compromise. That’s why Jesus Himself warned, “Take heed how you hear.”
This is exactly how Satan, through the Antichrist’s system, is working to corrupt the world—pushing ungodly laws through governments, media, entertainment, and societal movements like the LGBT agenda. These strategies are designed to erode faith and normalize sin.
As Christians, we must stand strong in these trying times. Do not bow to evil practices or give in to worldly vices. Walk in righteousness. Stay unwavering in your faith, no matter the pressure. Let your light shine because you are sanctified by the Spirit. Jesus has already overcome the world and its systems, making you more than a conqueror. Scripture says that the world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, and we are the ones God is counting on to fulfil His word on earh and put Satan where he belong. We will continue to preach Jesus till we see His name spread all across the nations of the earth., Hallelujah!
PRAYER:
Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for overcoming the world and its system for me. I am in the world but not of the world; therefore, I am different. I think, talk, and act differently, reigning over sin in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
Revelation 18:4
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Matthew 5:14-16
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
