PSALMS 144:10-11 “It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword. Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.”
KEYWORD: God is worth calling upon in the day of trouble. He is the one to whom we bring every matter, no matter how heavy, complicated, or long-standing.
God indeed is the one who gives salvation and deliverance even to kings. This means that no level of power or influence exempts anyone from needing God’s saving hand. In these times, where attacks come in subtle and obvious forms, both spiritually and physically, we must remember that God alone has the ability to preserve and rescue. The sword was lifted countless times against David, yet God kept him through them all and brought him to victory.
This is a reminder to you that God is worth calling upon in the day of trouble. He is the one to whom we bring every matter, no matter how heavy, complicated, or long-standing. He alone has the capacity to rid us of the hand of strange people—those who smile in our presence but scheme in secret. These are men, women, and even children who speak vanity, flatter with their lips, and carry the false hand of betrayal masked as loyalty.
But here’s the assurance: God is exposing such people this year. He’s unveiling the foxes and wolves in sheep’s clothing. He is shining His light into every hidden corner so that His children are not taken unawares. As He did for David, He will do for you. Your enemies will be confused, their plots scattered, and you will see a mighty deliverance and restoration unfold. God is not just delivering you; He is preparing an abundance to come speedily into your hands. Glory to God!
PRAYER:
Father, You are my help and shield in times of danger. I turn to You today and ask for Your mighty hand of deliverance in every area of my life where the enemy seeks to trap me. I declare that I am preserved, victorious, and abundantly blessed in Jesus’ name. Amen.
