ISAIAH 62:4 “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.”

KEYWORD: Everything meant for you will find you not because of your striving, but because God has delighted in you.

Has your situation ever looked so bleak, so empty, so beyond repair that you felt forgotten by God? Have the whispers, the mocking eyes, and the pitiful looks of people pushed you into a corner of silence and pain? Perhaps it feels like time is no longer on your side, and the promises you once held dear seem too far gone. But glory to the Lord Most High, who brought you to His word today because this is your word!

God is not silent concerning your matter. Look at what He says in our opening scripture: you shall no longer be called Forsaken. He has erased that name. He has wiped off the label “Desolate” from your life. The time of weeping is over! The Lord has renamed you Hephzibah, which means “my delight is in her,” and Beulah, which means “married.” These are not empty names; they are declarations of identity, covenant, and destiny.

You are not unwanted. You are not a burden. You are not forgotten. You are not too late. God is not done with you. He delights in you. That means His eyes are upon you with joy and favour. That means the very places in your life that once looked like wastelands are about to bloom again. Where they mocked you for being single, He will clothe you with honour. Where they laughed at your delay, He will cause you to shine with His glory.

“None shall want for her mate” means there is a match, a destiny connection, a divine appointment that will not pass you by. And it’s not just about marriage alone. Mate could mean partnership, purpose, assignment, or any divine connection tied to your fulfilment. Everything meant for you will find you not because of your striving, but because God has delighted in you.
Lift up your head, wipe your tears. The season of your unveiling has come. Let this word enter your spirit. You are Hephzibah. You are Beulah. You are desired. You are loved. And you will testify! Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for changing my name and rewriting my story. I refuse to answer to the names of shame, delay, or desolation anymore. I embrace my new identity in You—Hephzibah and Beulah. I believe that You delight in me, and because of that, every divine connection and destiny mate aligned to my purpose will not miss me. I walk boldly into the season You’ve prepared for me, full of joy and confident expectation. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
