EXODUS 28:1 “And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.”

KEYWORD: This year, rise into the reality of your priesthood. Know that God has called you, set you apart, and anointed you to minister unto Him.

The office of a priest is given by God for one primary reason: to minister unto Him. In the Old Testament, not everyone could hold this sacred office. A priest had to come from the lineage of the priesthood, carefully chosen and set apart for the work of God. Their role was not just ceremonial; it carried responsibility, holiness, and a calling to be mediators between God and man.
Today, however, through the death, resurrection, and eternal priesthood of Jesus Christ, this sacred office is extended to all believers. The New Testament opens the priesthood to every child of God. Revelation 1:6 declares, “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
This means that every believer is called to minister directly to God. Jesus Christ is our High Priest, and in Him, we are made priests together with Him. Hallelujah! This is not by our own effort, lineage, or desire; it is God who has ordained and appointed us. Hebrews 3:1 says, “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.”
As priests of the Most High, our office is heavenly, sacred, and requires holiness. You are called “holy brethren” because you have been sanctified by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. You are set apart for God’s service and for His glory. This office is not something to be taken lightly; it is a high calling, a privilege, and a responsibility.
To embrace this office fully, you must live in understanding and revelation. Romans 12:1 reminds us:”I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Your life, your words, and your actions are all part of this priestly service. Living as a priest means dedicating yourself wholly to God’s purposes, ministering to Him, interceding for others, and representing His kingdom here on earth.
This year, rise into the reality of your priesthood. Know that God has called you, set you apart, and anointed you to minister unto Him. Live in the fullness of this office, and let your life reflect the holiness, authority, and glory of Christ in all that you do.

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for choosing, sanctifying, and making me a priest unto You. From this day, I worship and revere You for granting me the privilege to be partaker of this heavenly calling, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
