About Living The Life
1
Say a word of prayer immediately you wake up for understanding of God’s Word to you through the devotional.
The first thing you must do as a child of God is to pray immediately you wake up. Begin with a simple prayer, thanking God for His love and grace. Then you talk to the Lord to open your heart and simplify His Word through the devotional to you. Read the day’s devotional passage slowly and thoughtfully. With this, you will gain maximum knowledge and understanding of what God is talking to you about for the day.
2
Have a Bible, pen, and writing materials with you, because you will definitely receive ideas from God as you go through the articles
As you read the articles or engage, God will begin to open your eyes to divine insights, ideas, or revelations. With your Bible with you, you can search and read further scripture reference. By having a pen and paper ready, you can immediately capture these thoughts before they slip away. Writing down your thoughts helps you process information more deeply and the manner in which God dropped it in your spirit. Having a pen and paper allows you to jot down key points or verses God wants you to focus on or the points He wants you to share with others.
3
Carefully read and meditate on each article, giving attention to every word and the Bible passages within
When you “carefully read and meditate on each article,” you’re engaging in a deep, intentional process of spiritual nourishment. This involves reflecting on the text, pondering its meaning, and applying it to your life. You must delve into the text, paying close attention to every word, phrase, and scripture used in the article.
4
Genuinely say the prayers or confessions at the end of each devotional audibly to yourself, having in mind that you are making a confession and declaring words that will pattern your day.
When you confess God’s Word and declare His promises over your life, you are aligning yourself with His divine will and inviting His Spirit to work in you. By speaking His promises, you position yourself to see them fulfilled.Saying the prayer out loud strengthens your belief and conviction. So, as you go through the devotional, don’t just read the prayers and confessions silently. Speak them with conviction and faith, believing that God will answer.
5
Write out your goals and ideas as the Holy Spirit drops them in your Spirit.
The Holy Spirit will definitely be talking to you as you study. So do well to write down everything He will be inspiring your mind with and always revisit them in the place of prayer. It might come as a goal, instructions, ideas, etc.
6
Be conscious of the Word of God in you going into your day, knowing that you are a victor in Christ Jesus!God bless you!
As you are reading the devotional, be conscious of who you are and understand that God is equipping you with His Word to take charge of your day. As you study, your mind and spirit will be energised to face your day squarely without any iota of fear or doubt because the Lord has filled you with grace to takeover your day and come out victorious.
