MATTHEW 16:2-3 “He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?”

KEYWORD: Prophecy gives insight into God’s heart concerning a matter or season. It is a lifestyle, because the life of a believer is inherently prophetic.

We live in a world where wizards, witches, occultists, necromancers, and psychics operate under demonic influence-all striving to control the knowledge of times and seasons in people’s lives. They understand the power of timing in the spiritual realm. Imagine when an evil person discovers your season of divine upliftment before you do. This is why the Bible says a prudent man foresees evil afar off and hides himself.
A person who walks with God must understand their times and seasons through prophecy, not only for themselves but even for the generations that follow. Jesus said that even if humanity does not know its dispensation, you ought to know for yourself. Abraham, by prophecy, saw Canaan, the promised land, 400 years ahead of his time. Joseph, also a prophet, predicted the deliverance of Israel before the nation entered slavery, instructing that his bones be taken to the promised land when that time came. Through prophecy, he saw beyond his own generation.
Prophecy gives insight into God’s heart concerning a matter or season. It is a lifestyle, because the life of a believer is inherently prophetic. Vision cannot be fully fulfilled without prophecy; it is the revelation of God’s mind and thoughts about a matter. When you understand His perspective, you can align your life with His pattern, and over time, blessings manifest.
This way of living transcends human senses and sight. It comes through walking with the Spirit, who reveals things to come. Paul’s journey in Acts 27 is a perfect example. Before embarking on any assignment, a believer knows what it will look like and when to navigate carefully. Many believers walk into danger unknowingly simply because they did not follow the leading of God’s Spirit through prophecy. By walking in God’s timing, you can set your goals, live purposefully, and fulfill the good life God has ordained for you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You because even before I was formed in my mother’s womb, You knew me and ordained my life for Your glory. I live to fulfill all the positive prophecies over my life as You have ordained, bringing praise and honor to Your name, Amen.
