EPHESIANS 2:6-7 “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”

KEYWORD: Our words are laws; our steps should chart new courses and bring healing and restoration wherever we go.

It is painful to see some Christians still looking at the blessings God has given to us as a futuristic thing. The blessing we have received is for now; it has taken its place already as part of our inheritance in Christ, and all we need to do is embrace it and then walk in it. It is thus laughable when Jesus, who became poor for us that we might be rich, looks down and sees His own children walking in abject poverty and lowness of spirit. His death was necessary to bring these blessings to us, and the greatest way to show our appreciation of His sacrifice is to see that it is fully manifest in us.

Abraham’s sacrifice and followership made him a possessor of the heavens and earth (See Genesis 14:19). Since we are heirs of the promise, we also have received this and must walk in that reality. Even greater than this is that beyond possessing the heavens and earth, we can command every being in them. We have been given all authority, and we must wield it. We must stop being timid and allowing situations to daunt us. Our place is in Christ Jesus, who is seated in the heavenly place. It therefore makes no sense for you to live less than the level you’ve been called to.

You must tell yourself that enough is enough. You are not poor, you are not small, you are not weak, you are not broken! You are rich, strong, sound, and bright. Everything is yours in God, who has elevated you with Jesus Christ. We have been made equal with God and are far more than mere men. Our words are laws; our steps should chart new courses and bring healing and restoration wherever we go. That negative situation has no choice but to respond to you, and resources must show up when you speak. We have the blessing, so let it show forth evidently in all we say and do. Our lives must reflect the life of Jesus Christ; in so doing, others will see Jesus in us, and they will come to know and serve Him as the one and only true God, the creator of heaven and earth! Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Thank You, Lord, for the blessings we have received in You. I walk fully confident in all that is mine in Christ Jesus and refuse to accept anything that does not communicate my new level and life in You Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
