WHAT KIND OF LIFE DO YOU LIVE? (II)

ROMANS 6:13: “Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.”

KEYWORD: Christ’s desire is to see you sanctified and made whole as you serve Him in sincerity of heart and love.

Having decided that Jesus is the choice you have made for your life, your daily decisions must also come under His influence. Do not ever think that being saved was His only goal for you. Christ’s desire is to see you sanctified and made whole as you serve Him in sincerity of heart and love. He longs for you to be perfected in Him, and He will not relent in helping you come into this reality.

As He leads you, His help and direction will teach you how to pattern each day rightly. One of the first things God requires is that you yield your body fully to Him. Yes, your body truly matters. From the moment you accepted Christ, your body became His dwelling place, His temple. Because He has chosen to live in it, He does not take lightly how it is treated.

However, Satan has deceived many into believing that what they do with their bodies does not matter after they are born again. This is a dangerous lie. Your body now belongs to the Lord and must be kept in a holy state. It is to be treated with honour and respect, because God Himself honours that body. He chose it as His residence and desires that you see it as something worthy of careful cultivation for His divine purpose.

Do not be deceived into thinking that anything can be allowed into your body. You must deliberately cut off lustful influences and cleanse yourself from being used as an object of careless or immoral affection. Every part of your body must be yielded to God and not presented as an instrument of unrighteousness.

This body was bought at a great price, the precious blood of Christ. You must therefore consciously distance yourself from people or environments that suggest your body can be used in any manner. Failure to do so will hinder the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life. You may find yourself struggling endlessly for peace, joy, and contentment. When God’s temple is neglected or defiled, unrest sets in, and this is exactly what the enemy desires.

Instead, let your body become a living instrument of praise and worship unto God. Because Christ lives in you, sin no longer has dominion over you. Today, you face a choice regarding how your body will be used. Will you yield it fully to glorify God, allowing every thought, action, and desire to reflect His holiness? Or will you allow it to be swayed by the temporary pleasures of the world? The choice is yours, and the life you experience-peace, joy, and fulfillment depends on it. Choose wisely, and let every part of you serve the Lord wholeheartedly. Shalom.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I yield my body to You today and ask that You fill it completely with Your presence. I choose to honour it because You have made it Your dwelling place. Help me to separate myself from anyone or anything that seeks to corrupt it or cause me to treat it with disregard. I choose to live my life to Your praise and glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
