MATTHEW 16:15-16 “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

KEYWORD: Belief in Jesus should not be a compartment in your life, it must become the lens through which you perceive, interact with, and respond to the world around you.

It is not enough to know Jesus Christ is God intellectually or emotionally in some part of your heart. True faith demands that this knowledge define every aspect of your life, shaping your thoughts, words, actions, and decisions. You cannot claim to believe in Jesus and yet live a life where He has no authority or influence over your daily choices.
When Jesus asks, “Who am I to you?”, He is not seeking casual acknowledgment; He is calling for a full, personal declaration of your reliance on Him. It is a call to relationship, trust, and surrender. At this moment, faith becomes active, not passive. Belief in Jesus should not be a compartment in your life, it must become the lens through which you perceive, interact with, and respond to the world around you.

Saying that Jesus is God is more than lip service; it is a life-altering decision. It is saying: “Jesus, You are my Savior, my guide, my refuge, my counselor, my strength, my joy, my healer, my provider, my friend, my confidante, my everything.” You define who He is to you, and in return, He responds fully to that declaration. There are no limits to how much He desires to be involved in your life. He wants to occupy every part of it, to fill it with His grace, wisdom, and love.

When you consciously allow Him to become all these things in your life, you begin to draw deeply from His wells of wisdom and grace. Your thoughts, words, and actions begin to radiate His light. You become a beacon of hope, love, and restoration to your world. Your faith becomes not just a personal experience but a testimony to those around you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Yourself as the living God. I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord, Savior, Teacher, Counselor, and Guide. Let my life reflect this truth in every thought, word, and action. Help me to walk daily in full reliance on Him, drawing deeply from His wisdom, grace, and power. May my life bring light, hope, and restoration to all around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
