John 5:24“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
KEYWORD: Whatever physical issues or circumstances you experience are subject to change through the Word of God.
Just like there are two forces of life—the force of light and darkness, there is the law of Spirit and death. These two laws play a relevant role in the things of the Spirit or the realm of the Spirit. The scriptures say, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This simple act brought condemnation to the world. This condemnation is sickness, diseases, death, oppression, suffering, arrows of darkness, wickedness, etc., walking in a man that is not born again.
So when Jesus came on the scene, He said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). This means that if anyone hears His Word and believes in the One who sent Him (God), that person has received the life of God, and the condemnation that brings darkness, death, diseases, etc., into one’s life dies or stops automatically.
This is the big one—you have passed into the law of the Spirit of life. Now that you are born again, the law that operates around or in you is the law of the Spirit of life. You are no longer living from the realm of death, but you are living from the realm of life, which is why Romans 12:2 says to renew your mindset, your thinking patterns, and your speech, because on this side of life, in the law of the Spirit and Life, we need our mind and speech to align with the principles of the law of the Spirit.
For the fact that you are living on the earth and everything God created has intelligence, you can experience some things that are not consistent with the law of Spirit and Life; for example, you might feel pain in your body, maybe due to stress or something else. What is the first thought that comes to your mind, and what do you call it? Some will say, “I have a headache,” or “I have stomach pain.” Your body has intelligence, that is why you would feel that unrest, but calling it a name and saying, “I have this and that,” is establishing that fact on your body.
The truth is, whatever physical issues or circumstances you experience are subject to change through the Word of God. When those symptoms come on your body, you lay hands there and rebuke whatever is in the authority in the name of Jesus Christ, because they are strangers to the law of Spirit and Life. When you see unpleasant events happening over and over again in your life, environment or nation, or in the lives of those around you, scripture says to resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Romans 8:1 also says “There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” The Apostle Paul also emphasizes what Jesus had said in the opening scripture above. For you who are in Christ Jesus, there is no more condemnation to death, diseases, poverty, lack, etc., especially if you do not walk after the flesh, meaning you are not walking according to the flesh, senses (sensibly ruled Christians), and not by how you feel, but after the Spirit. When you have this truth in your spirit, it will influence your mind and inundate your soul; it will eventually begin to live itself out in your life, body, and everything around you. Glory to God!
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You, for from today, I live and operate from the Spirit of the law of Life; I live not after the sense of this world but after Your Spirit, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 8: 1-2
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
