ROMANS 5:15 “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”

KEYWORD: When you understand what Christ has accomplished for you, you will no longer approach every challenge with fear.

How many of us have come to the understanding and now live with the consciousness that God has called us to reign through His grace? It is painful to watch believers become overwhelmed by difficult situations and immediately look only to human solutions when God has already given them spiritual resources through Christ.

Jesus did not go to the cross so that His people would live in fear and defeat. His death, burial, and resurrection secured for us a life of victory, authority, and fellowship with God. Through Him, we have been brought into a position where we can stand confidently in faith and exercise the authority He has entrusted to us.

In our opening scripture, we see that the gift of grace through Jesus Christ is far greater than the offence that came through Adam. Sin and death entered the world through one man’s disobedience, but through Christ came righteousness, life, and victory. This is the power of grace at work in the believer.

When you understand what Christ has accomplished for you, you will no longer approach every challenge with fear. Instead, you will approach situations with confidence in God’s Word and in His power at work within you. When circumstances seem contrary, remember that the grace of God has provided you access to divine help, wisdom, and authority.

This does not mean we speak independently of God, but that we boldly speak in agreement with His Word. Like Jesus who rebuked the wind and the waves, believers are called to exercise faith and stand upon what God has said. We do not panic when confronted with adversity. We respond with faith, prayer, and confidence in God’s promises.

Your voice has been given to you for more than conversation. It is a tool through which you declare God’s truth, proclaim His promises, and give expression to your faith. Do not allow fear to silence what God has placed within you.

We are living in a time when the Church must boldly embrace the authority and grace that Christ has provided. Refuse to live as a victim of circumstances. Stand upon God’s Word. Speak in faith. Walk in confidence. Through Christ, you have been called to reign in life. Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness that You have given to me through Christ. Help me to walk in the authority You have entrusted to me and to stand confidently upon Your Word. Teach me to speak in faith and to trust Your power at work in every situation. Thank You for causing me to reign in life through Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
