PSALM 107:25 “For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.”
KEYWORD: Learning to trust the Lord, recognizing that smoke is deception, and that the wind is God’s powerful Word is essential for every believer.
Today, the contrast is clear: Satan’s lies and his attempts to camouflage God’s plan for your life are the smoke, while the Word of God, which gives clear direction, insight, and clarity, is the wind. Smoke suffocates and clouds your vision, leaving you choked and unable to see clearly. Wind, however, disperses the smoke and restores clarity. Learning to trust the Lord, recognizing that smoke is deception, and that the wind is God’s powerful Word is essential for every believer.
Remember, smoke suggests the presence of something that is not actually there, deceiving you into believing in shadows rather than reality. God’s Word, however, can be trusted implicitly if placed firmly in your heart. Many challenges or attacks around you are merely decoys set up by Satan to make you feel stagnant or to take a step back from God’s work. When you suddenly feel too weak to serve or engage in your God-given purpose, pause and discern the smoke screens around you.
At that moment, God calls you to use His Word to diffuse the deception. Even if you do not see immediate results, do not doubt–remain steadfast in faith and continue advancing by the Spirit. Those enemies who seek your downfall will be blown away as they see you are anchored in God’s Word. Today, choose to ride with the wind in your sails. Allow the wind of God’s Word to clear away the smoke, lifting you above distractions and leading you into the victory God has foreordained for you. Hallelujah!
PRAYER:
Dear Father, thank You for the swiftness and potency of Your Word, made available to me today. I stay focused on what it says about me and believe only what it instructs me to do in Jesus’ name. I refuse to give in to the lies of the enemy and be derailed from my path of purpose. I receive grace to do this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
