2 Timothy 3:16-17 (TLB)“The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right. It’s God’s way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.”
KEYWORD: The Bible is Spirit-inspired, and it yields undeniable benefits in the lives of those who use it to shape their lives, guide their decisions, and influence their thoughts.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is the only book in the world that contains the very words of Jesus exactly as He spoke them from time immemorial, and it carries the same power today as it did yesterday. The inspired Word of God is life; anyone who comes in contact with it—understanding its knowledge, spirit, and power—will never remain the same. It revives dead situations and transforms lives. It took ordinary fishermen like Peter and the apostles—uneducated and unrefined men—and turned them into bold, extraordinary individuals, capable of performing miracles and speaking with divine wisdom.
Matthew 24:35 says “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” The scriptures declare that heaven and earth will perish. Everything that God created and all that man has built will pass away—speaking in tongues will cease, prophecies will end—but His Word will never pass away (Isaiah 51:6). The inspired Word is everlasting; therefore, we can trust that the Bible remains relevant today, tomorrow, and forever. When Moses received the very first words of God, engraved by His own finger on tablets, it was meant to be preserved for teaching (Exodus 31:18, 24:12). 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV tells us, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable…” The Bible is Spirit-inspired, and it yields undeniable benefits in the lives of those who use it to shape their lives, guide their decisions, and influence their thoughts.
Through the ages, countless testimonies, miracles, and transformations have come from people who lived by God’s Word. The Bible is the only book that can change any person, regardless of their colour, race, background, or academic qualifications. That is why God has made it available to us—for our profiting. Hallelujah! You, too, can experience the power of God’s Word in your life. If you don’t yet have a Bible, get one today. Study it—not just as a newspaper or ordinary book, but as the divine treasure it is. Meditate on it, put it into practice, and watch how your life will be filled with testimonies and miracles. The Bible is God’s gift to us, a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. Shalom!
