ISAIAH 40:8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
KEYWORD: Just as a fish cannot live outside water, you cannot thrive outside the Word of God.
The Word of God formed the heavens and the earth, and by it all things were created and made. This means the Word of God is eternal. It has existed from the beginning, remains today, and will continue forever. If all things came into being by the spoken Word of God, then the Word of God is powerful enough to create, and it is life, because it gave life to all creations we see around us today (John 6:63).
Another beautiful truth about the Word of God is that it endures forever. It does not change, nor does it fail. It is as potent today as it was from the beginning, and it is always worthy of our full reliance.
The Word of God is available to us who believe in God and His Word right now, and we can use it to our advantage. No matter the state of your life: your health, finances, relationships, or circumstances that is not aligned with God’s will, the Word of God can bring transformation to them. Even when situations seem irreparable, the Word of God can create a new and better reality, because it carries creative power.
The question is: Are you using the Word of God today to your advantage? Are you using it to chart the course of your life, or are you leaving your life to chance? Remember, you too are a product of God’s Word. Just as a fish cannot live outside water, you cannot thrive outside the Word of God. Ensure you live, use, and abide by God’s Word all the days of your life. Shalom!
PRAYER:
Faithful God, thank You because I am a living proof of Your Word that abides forever. I declare today, by the authority of Your Word, that I am continually victorious in life, and all things work together for my good in Jesus’ name. Amen.
