YOUR LIFE IS A WITNESS (II)

JOHN 12:23–24 “And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”

KEYWORD: As you align yourself fully with the Lord and walk in obedience, your life becomes a witness.

No matter how small or inconsequential you think the work you do for God’s Kingdom may seem, you must understand that God does not consider it insignificant. He sees every labour of love that His children sincerely offer in obedience to Him.
The Lord also knows that not everyone will respond to the message immediately. Some are cautious and take time to observe before making a decision. In that process, they watch the lives of those who profess the truth. As they observe your consistency, sincerity, and the integrity of your walk with God, your life becomes a testimony before them.
However, the foundation of this is deeper than outward consistency. Jesus makes it clear in the opening scripture that fruitfulness comes through death: death to self, to pride, to the desire for recognition, and to personal ambition outside of God’s will. If a seed refuses to fall into the ground and die, it remains alone. But when it yields itself, it produces much fruit.
This is why God encourages us not to grow weary in doing good. Your obedience is not wasted, even when it seems unnoticed. It is time to die to the need for immediate approval or recognition. Instead, let your focus be: “Have I faithfully done what God required of me in this moment?”
Ask yourself: Is Jesus evident in me when others observe my life? Am I living in a way that reflects Him clearly? As you align yourself fully with the Lord and walk in obedience, your life becomes a witness. Some will take notice, some will take time, and some may not respond, but God is at work beyond what you can see. Your responsibility is not to produce the results, but to remain faithful. In due season, fruit will come forth according to God’s purpose. Do your part, and trust Him to bring increase in His own time. Shalom.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me see the importance of the works I do in Your name. Help my heart always to be patient and consistent in all You have called me to do, without giving up, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
