JEREMIAH 1:18–19 “For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land… And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.”

KEYWORD: This season, do not run from what once intimidated you. Instead, look to what God has revealed to you and recognize the power He has given you to overcome.

When you allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and strengthen your spirit through His Word, a new strength is formed within you, the ability to face whatever is set before you without trembling. You will not quit or run away. Instead, you will press forward, unafraid of the tactics the enemy may attempt to use against you. In essence, you become like a fortified city secured against every weapon formed against you. Not only that, God equips you with a rich and inexhaustible armoury to stand against anything that rises in opposition.

This armoury is vast and ever sufficient. There will be situations that demand that you rise, take a stand, and draw from what God has already deposited within you. Some situations will require that you speak in alignment with God’s Word with boldness and authority. Others will call for deep and fervent intercession. Some may require the breaking of bread in remembrance of Christ and a conscious alignment with His finished work. Others will demand divine wisdom that silences opposition. At times, you may be led into acts of obedience and sacrificial giving as an expression of your trust in God. Whatever the situation may be, your being strengthened by the Word of God will enable you to stand firm and not fall.

This season, do not run from what once intimidated you. Instead, look to what God has revealed to you and recognize the power He has given you to overcome. Stand as one who has already been equipped for victory. Do not allow the words of the wicked to shake your confidence in the potency of God’s Word or the integrity of His promises concerning you. Keep your trust anchored in His ability to lead you through every situation triumphantly. Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for equipping me with a well-stocked armoury through Your Word. Thank You for patiently building me, strengthening me, and granting me victory in every situation. I stand firm, confident in all that You have made available to me. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Ezekiel 2:6 “And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.”
JEREMIAH 1:17 “Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
