LUKE 24:45 “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,”

KEYWORD: True understanding has a way of stabilizing a man who is committed to God’s purpose. It helps you not to judge by the flesh or respond to the pressure of the crowd.

Are you ready to walk in true understanding? Do you desire to know the Lord as He desires to be known by you? Are you open to His Spirit teaching you deep truths? Will you be like the disciples who, though shaken by the death of Jesus, returned to Him and received understanding? Their eyes were opened, and they began to grasp what He had been teaching them. Those who remained and received this understanding were strengthened and continued in their assignment.
True understanding has a way of stabilizing a man who is committed to God’s purpose. It helps you not to judge by the flesh or respond to the pressure of the crowd. Instead, you become aware of what God is doing in your life and the wisdom required to walk in it.
True understanding will sustain you in seasons when it seems that what God has shown you is not yet manifesting. It keeps you steady when others begin to turn aside in search of alternatives. True understanding also calls you into a life of deeper commitment. In a time when many are being influenced by worldly standards, it keeps your heart aligned with God. Some have allowed their passion for God to grow cold, adjusting their walk to fit what is convenient. But the life of Christ shows us a different pattern, one of devotion to the will of the Father.
Will you allow God’s voice to remain the final authority in your life? Or will you be influenced by what is popular around you? God is calling you to receive understanding and to walk in it. Like the men of Issachar, who had understanding of the times and knew what to do, you also must seek to know and respond rightly. Ask the Lord to open your understanding daily. As He does, walk in what He reveals. That is how understanding grows and becomes established in your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I surrender to Your wisdom, which guides me in all things and gives me victory over the deceptive suggestions of the world. Help me to always know what to do and to guard my place and assignment in You diligently. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
