PASTOR MARTINS OMONUA
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:27-28
KEYWORD: One of the natural orders of your life as a Christian is to succeed in whatever you set your mind to do in Christ.
Many times, a lot of people say that the suffering of the world was because of Adam’s sin: that when he sinned, man was cursed. The truth is that man was never cursed. In Genesis 3:17, God cursed the ground because he had blessed Adam and couldn’t curse him. Adam’s sin of disobedience was responsible for the curse.
We read in our opening scripture that God blessed man from the beginning of creation; He only cursed the ground for man’s sake due to Adam’s disobedience to God’s instruction. God reversed the curse because of a man called Noah. God said in Genesis 8:21, “…I will not again curse the ground anymore for man’s sake….”
When Noah offered the burnt sacrifice to God in Genesis 8, God blessed the earth and said, ‘Seedtime and harvest will not cease.’ This is good news for us today! All the offerings of man have received the ability to be fruitful so that whatever you propose to do, there is ability and grace to make progress. When you find yourself in a state of confusion and stagnation, ask yourself if you are following God’s principles and direction for your life; if so, nothing will be able to stop you.
You must understand that one of the natural orders of your life as a Christian is to succeed in whatever you set your mind to do in Christ. You ought to have your baby in due season and achieve all you are determined to do in your heart, for God has given us a defined declaration: “Be fruitful and multiply.”
Look into your life and consider that little thing you must have started that looks like a struggle and begin to declare to it, “You have not only come to stand; you have come to spread.” When you do this, you must be conscious of that anointing in your life and believe that whatever you declare in faith in the name of Jesus has the potency to be established as you’ve said it. What is that situation that has been an issue of concern to you? Health challenge? Financial challenge? What has God declared in His sovereign power over your life? You have divine life. So, begin to speak fruitfulness in your life, for that is the order of your life in Christ Jesus. Glory to God!
PRAYER:
I’m the first and not the last, the head and not the tail. The word of God is bringing out the best in me, causing me to be fruitful in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
