JEREMIAH 5:14 “Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.”
KEYWORD: Just as different tools are designed for specific purposes, so also God knows the exact kind of input you need for where He is leading you.
None of the words God has been speaking to you are without purpose. There is a level of faith He is bringing you into. He is working in you to expand your capacity and to open your eyes to what He desires to accomplish through your life. When you notice God drawing your attention to certain Scriptures and prompting you to spend time in His Word and in sound teaching, understand that something deliberate is taking place within you. He is reshaping your thinking and aligning your responses with His truth.
Just as different tools are designed for specific purposes, so also God knows the exact kind of input you need for where He is leading you. He understands the process required to prepare you for what lies ahead. At this point, God is calling you to yield fully and commit to this process. Allow His Word to work within you, to refine your thoughts, and to build strength in your spirit that remains steady even in challenging moments.
As His Word takes root in you, it begins to shape what you say and how you respond. It is no longer just your words, but truth formed within you finding expression. In Book of Jeremiah 23:29, the Word of God is described as a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces. When you stand on His Word and speak in alignment with it, it carries power. When situations appear difficult, return to the Word. Let it guide your response. As you do this, God gives wisdom, direction, and strength to navigate each circumstance according to His will. This is the work of transformation. It is steady, intentional, and purposeful.
In this new month, yield to the process and allow God to shape you by His Word. Take time today to respond deliberately. Do not treat the Word casually or as something familiar. Give yourself to it with hunger and sincerity. Meditate on it, speak it, and allow it to correct and build you.
As you remain consistent, you will begin to see the evidence. Your thoughts will change. Your responses will mature. Your confidence in God will grow. What once seemed difficult will begin to align under the influence of His Word at work in you. Stay with the process. Do not rush it, and do not neglect it. In due time, the work God is doing within you will become evident outwardly. Glory to God!
PRAYER:
Father Lord, shape me into the image You see through Your Word. I open myself to be transformed completely into all that You have called me to be and to accomplish by the help of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
