THE RAPTURE AND SPIRITUAL READINESS (II)

DANIEL 12:1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”

KEYWORD: As believers, we are not to walk in fear but in readiness, ensuring that our hearts are steadfast in Christ and that we are continually burning in devotion to Him.

After the rapture has taken place, earthly activities will continue, but everything will drastically change. It will be the period when the man of sin, also called the antichrist or son of perdition, will be revealed. Just as God brought forth His Son through the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, so also scripture reveals that the enemy will manifest his own system of rebellion through the working of deception.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

This period is understood in scripture as a time of great tribulation. Those who are taken in the rapture will be with the Lord. The earth will then experience unprecedented trials and the unveiling of systems of deception under the influence of the antichrist.

It is also important to distinguish between the spirit of antichrist and the antichrist himself. The spirit of antichrist refers to any influence, teaching, or system that denies the deity and incarnation of Jesus Christ. The antichrist, however, refers to the specific end time personality who will arise in opposition to God. 1 John 4:3 says, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist.”

When the antichrist is revealed on the earth, it will mark the beginning of a period of intense deception and wickedness. He will establish a global system of governance aligned with his agenda, and many will be drawn into his influence through deception and control. Scripture also shows that economic systems will be part of this structure, where participation will be restricted without allegiance to that system.

While these events remain prophetic, the Church is called to remain watchful and spiritually prepared. As believers, we are not to walk in fear but in readiness, ensuring that our hearts are steadfast in Christ and that we are continually burning in devotion to Him. Hallelujah!

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for my family, friends, loved ones, and all within my sphere of influence who have not yet received the knowledge of Your grace. Let every veil covering their hearts be removed, and let the light of the gospel of Christ shine into their lives. Draw them unto salvation so they may be ready for Your coming, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

REVELATION 17:12 “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”

DANIEL 7:20 “And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.”
