LUKE 10:23 (KJV) “And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see.”
KEYWORD: If you desire to grow and be strengthened through the leadership God has placed over you, you must learn to see rightly, perceive spiritually, and respond with humility and faith.
It is important to understand that not everyone is gifted in the same way or manner by the Lord for the assignments He has called them to fulfill. God knows what each person’s walk and work with Him should look like, so He equips each one with the grace, abilities, and resources necessary to accomplish their purpose.
If you choose to pursue a path outside what God has defined for you, even if it appears you are still serving Him, you may eventually find yourself frustrated and unfulfilled. However, it is different when you have faithfully completed what He assigned to you and then realize you still have capacity and time to do more. When you ask God for additional responsibility from that place of faithfulness and diligence, it pleases Him, because He delights in a heart that is willing and committed to His work.
Today, God is calling us to understand what He has given us and how to align those abilities with His purpose. He desires that we remain hungry for more of Him, continually drawing from His presence and growing in spiritual understanding.
Many times, God places spiritual leaders in our lives to guide, teach, and equip us. At that point, we must learn to open our hearts and discern and also recognize the grace and anointing of God at work in them, rather than focusing only on their humanity.
If you desire to grow and be strengthened through the leadership God has placed over you, you must learn to see rightly, perceive spiritually, and respond with humility and faith. Ask God to give you a heart that listens for His voice and receives instruction with understanding.
These leaders are instruments God uses for your growth, but your ultimate dependence must remain on Him. When you respond rightly, you position yourself to receive the wisdom, correction, and guidance He desires to give you.
In this season, will you position yourself to grow and flourish in all that God has prepared for you, or will you overlook what He is doing and miss opportunities for growth? Remember, God has called you into a life of purpose, fruitfulness, and fellowship with Him. The choice is yours. Glory to God!
PRAYER:
Thank You, Jesus, for revealing these profound truths to me. I choose today to gain on every side and not lose what You have called me to partake of. Help me to remain consistent and diligent, keeping Your Word before me and working toward its full manifestation in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
