PSALM 8:6 “Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:”
KEYWORD: In Christ Jesus, we have been positioned to live from victory, not from defeat or fear.
You cannot do it no matter how hard you try.” Many believers have heard words like these from family members, friends, teachers, or even loved ones whenever they attempt to act on God’s Word in faith.
Sometimes you read a Scripture and suddenly feel stirred to take a bold step of faith, but the moment you share it with someone, discouragement arises almost immediately. They begin to explain why it may not work, reminding you of others who tried and failed.
Though their words may sound reasonable, your response must not be rooted merely in human reasoning. Your confidence must be rooted in the victory Jesus Christ already secured for you. God understands that on your journey of faith, there will always be voices that speak from disappointment, fear, or past failure. But He continually reminds you that through Christ, victory has already been obtained on your behalf.
The opening Scripture says God has given man dominion over the works of His hands. In Christ Jesus, we have been positioned to live from victory, not from defeat or fear. This does not mean challenges will never arise, but it means you must never allow fear or unbelief to define your expectations. Continue to trust what God has spoken concerning you.
Let the world see the expression of God’s ability at work through your life. Refuse to shrink back because others failed before you. If God has spoken, then move in faith and obedience.
This year, push forward with greater confidence in God. Believe His Word, stay steadfast in faith, and allow your life to reveal the victory that Christ has already given you. Shalom.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank you for winning and thus giving me the sole advantage every single time I want to try something new with my faith. Help me never to give up but to push until the victory is evident for all to see and glorify your holy name, in Jesus’ name.
