HEBREWS 10:12-13 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.”
KEYWORD: The same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you. There should be no limitations in your life.
We have entered a season where more than ever before, God is calling the Church to actively exercise the dominion that His Son, Jesus, won for us over Satan and his cohorts. Jesus endured the cross, not to showcase His power, but so that we could rise into the purpose and assignment God predestined for each of us.
Are you aware that when you act timidly or remain ignorant of all that has been given to you, you fall short of God’s expectation for your life? Jesus, having won dominion over all things, handed it fully to the Church. Having done so, He expects and still expects that we begin to live with the mindset and reality of all that has been entrusted to us: authority, power, and victory.
God wants us to exercise dominion over Satan. The scripture above makes this clear. Those situations that make you tremble in fear, those battles that provoke fear-filled prayers, are exactly where Christ calls you to demonstrate the power and authority He has placed in your hands. Christ has done His part. Now it is time for you to recognize your part and exercise it judiciously.
The same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you. There should be no limitations in your life. You have the authority to command change in any situation according to God’s Word. You can decree life where there is death. You can speak triumph over every circumstance. At no point should you settle for defeat in areas of your life that do not reflect the glory of God.
Your mouth has been equipped to speak, decree, and see established what God has promised. If you have not yet fully grasped this, immerse yourself in the Word. Discover more about who you are in Christ and all that belongs to you. The ultimate goal for this year is clear: it must be a year of flourishing in God’s Word and glory. Insist on it and live the life God has destined for you this year. Shalom!
PRAYER:
Thank You, Jesus, for showing me once again all that You have entrusted to me, willingly and freely. Help me today to walk boldly in this authority, to do the work of the Kingdom, and not tremble in fear over enemies You have placed under my feet, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
