ROMANS 5:15 “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”

KEYWORD: When a man walks closely with the Spirit of God and carries an excellent heart toward the things of God, he can be inspired to initiate acts of devotion that have never been practiced before his time.
Whenever God intends to accomplish something on the earth, He begins with a man. When He desires to raise a generation, establish a nation, or preserve a godly seed, He works through a man. This is consistent with God’s pattern all through Scripture. Malachi 2:15 says, “And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed…” This reveals God’s intent for the marriage union; that it is ordained to produce a godly seed, a people who will multiply upon the earth and preserve righteousness across generations. Marriage, therefore, is not merely a social arrangement; it is a divine institution with an eternal purpose. It has been rightly said that when purpose is not known, abuse becomes inevitable. Many today, especially those who lack understanding of God’s design, approach marriage and family from a purely human or fleshly perspective. Because they do not grasp God’s original intent, they begin to redefine family structures according to personal desires and cultural trends rather than aligning with divine order and purpose.
From the beginning, God’s design was clear (Genesis 1:27–28). He created male and female, and they come together in covenant to multiply and replenish the earth. Another powerful example of God working through one man is seen in the life of Abraham in Genesis 12:1–3. Here we see how God called one man, Abram, and from that one man raised an entire nation. As Abraham continued to walk with God, the Lord revealed Himself to him and taught him divine principles, the lifestyle of fellowship, and the ways of covenant relationship. The Scriptures later describe Abraham as a friend of God, because through his relationship with the Lord he grew in knowledge, insight, and obedience. He built altars whenever God appeared to him and maintained a life of consistent fellowship with God.

The Bible also records that Abraham was the first man in Scripture to give a tithe when he gave a tenth to Melchizedek, king of Salem (Genesis 14:18, Hebrews 7:1–3). In the New Testament, Melchizedek is revealed as a priestly figure whose order foreshadows Christ Himself. One important question arises: how did Abraham know to give a tenth without anyone teaching him this principle? How did he arrive at such a precise act of worship?

The answer lies in his fellowship with God. When a man walks closely with the Spirit of God and carries an excellent heart toward the things of God, he can be inspired to initiate acts of devotion that have never been practiced before his time, and God approves them. In this way, God continues to work through a yielded man to introduce divine patterns that bless generations. Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Spirit that works within me. Through Your Spirit, I think excellently in my walk with You. I receive wisdom and grace to initiate good and greater things in Your Kingdom. Let my life be a vessel through which Your purposes are established on the earth. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
