JOB 34:10–11 “Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.”
KEYWORD: God does not abandon those who walk with Him. As you hold on to Him, He sustains and guides you.
Many answer God’s call to serve Him, yet begin to wrestle with thoughts of whether they will lose out on certain things such as financial gain, influence, recognition, or comfort. These thoughts can grow so strong that they cloud the mind and make it difficult to clearly hear what God is saying. But understand this. God cannot be wicked. He does not lead His people into confusion or harm. His ways are just, and His dealings with every man are righteous.
The real question then becomes this. What is the purpose God has called your life to fulfill, and are you willing to embrace it as He reveals it? Are you aware that God’s leading will not always align with your expectations? Sometimes what you consider a great opportunity may not be His direction. At other times, what seems small or hidden may be part of a greater work He is accomplishing in your life. In all of this, will you remain persuaded that God’s way is right for you? Will you trust Him enough to follow even when you do not fully understand?
Will you believe that He is faithful to His Word and committed to your growth in Him? God does not abandon those who walk with Him. As you hold on to Him, He sustains and guides you. To walk in this way, true understanding is necessary. It is not something to ignore. You must pursue understanding that anchors your heart in God and keeps you steady in His will.
Do not allow doubt to push you toward alternatives that lead away from His path. Stay with Him. Learn of Him. Trust Him.
The Lord is looking for your response. Will you follow with understanding, or will you be led by uncertainty? Take a moment to examine your heart. Where has fear tried to make you question God’s leading? Where have your expectations begun to compete with His direction? Bring those areas before Him sincerely.
Ask the Lord to deepen your trust and to open your understanding daily. As you walk with Him, you will begin to see that His ways are not only right, but they are also purposeful and full of wisdom. Remain patient in the process. Remain faithful in what He has already shown you. In time, what seems unclear now will become evident, and you will recognize that He has been leading you rightly all along. Glory to God!
PRAYER:
Lord, I open my heart fully to You. I lay down every fear and concern that has hindered me from trusting Your chosen path for my life. Grant me grace, strength, and wisdom to continually walk in true understanding by Your precious Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
