JOEL 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh…”
KEYWORD: God desires that we not only know Him, but also carry out His will, walking in His righteousness, executing His purposes, and aligning with His judgment.
God desires that His children walk with Him from the standpoint of understanding, not just experience. The outpouring of His Spirit is available, but depth in God is cultivated through consistent fellowship, obedience, and growth in the Spirit. Isaiah 32:15 says, “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.” This reveals that the operation of the Spirit brings transformation. Through consistent fellowship with Him, the dry and unproductive areas of your life; whether in your work, relationships, assignment, or personal walk can be turned into places of fruitfulness. And from that fruitfulness comes multiplication and increase.
God does not intend for you to remain at the level of milk or basic understanding. He calls you into maturity to grow into deeper revelation and stronger spiritual capacity. This growth does not happen automatically; it is a product of your willingness to stay with Him and be taught by His Spirit.
Isaiah 32:16 further says, “Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.” This speaks of God establishing His order: His justice and righteousness even in unlikely places. When the Spirit is at work in you, you begin to see life from God’s perspective. What may seem confusing or unproductive in the natural can become meaningful and purposeful when understood through the Spirit. However, it is important to note that not every wilderness experience is orchestrated by God. Some are a result of disobedience or lack of understanding. But regardless of the cause, when you yield to the Spirit, He is able to bring light, correction, and transformation.
This is why you must become a man or woman of the Spirit, to discern accurately and walk in alignment with God’s will. Go deeper with God when He begins to reveal to you what matters to Him: His priorities, His desires, and His ways. This level of relationship is not common, but it is available to those who pursue Him sincerely. As seen in Genesis 18:17–19, God said, “Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do?” This shows that God shares His counsel with those who walk closely with Him. Abraham’s relationship with God was built on obedience, alignment, and a heart committed to His ways.
God desires that we not only know Him, but also carry out His will, walking in His righteousness, executing His purposes, and aligning with His judgment. Therefore, make a decision to go deeper. Do not remain at the surface. Stay with God, grow in understanding, and allow His Spirit to shape your life into all that He has ordained. Hallelujah!
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the ministry of Your Holy Spirit in me and through me. I choose to be deliberate about my fellowship with You in the Word, worship, praise, and prayer, because I do not want to live from shallow waters but from the ocean of Your Spirit. Amen.

JOHN 7:37–39 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.”
