1 CORINTHIANS 15:51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,”

KEYWORD: Do not live in fear concerning God’scoming. Instead, live prepared, watchful, and joyful, knowing that Christ is coming for a people who belong to Him.

The coming of the Lord for His Church is an event every believer should look forward to with joy, expectation, and readiness. Yet many still become afraid whenever the subject is mentioned. Some even say, “Lord, not yet,” because their hearts are still attached to certain earthly pursuits they desire to accomplish first, rather than being burdened for souls and the advancement of God’s kingdom, which ought to be the believer’s priority. But the truth is that our eternal home with Christ is far greater than anything this world can offer.
Although the word “rapture” itself is not directly written in Scripture, the event is clearly revealed in the Bible. The Scriptures describe believers being “caught up” together with the Lord. The Greek word often associated with this is “Harpazo,” which means to seize, snatch away, or take suddenly.
The return of Christ should not produce fear in the heart of a believer who is walking with God. If fear is present, it may reveal uncertainty about one’s relationship with God or a lack of understanding of His Word.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” The foundation of readiness for the coming of Christ is salvation through Jesus Christ. A man must be born again and remain steadfast in faith. Scripture speaks of the Book of Life as belonging to the Lamb, revealing that eternal life and redemption are found only through Jesus Christ.
This is why the death and resurrection of Jesus remain central to our faith. Through His sacrifice, He opened the way for salvation and eternal fellowship with God. He alone was found worthy to fulfill God’s redemptive plan.
Therefore, do not live in fear concerning His coming. Instead, live prepared, watchful, and joyful, knowing that Christ is coming for a people who belong to Him. Glory to God!

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you, for I am born again and my name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. I am a citizen of heaven and my spirit is alive to hear the sound of the Spirit, to be caught up to be with the Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
