1 CORINTHIANS 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
KEYWORD: A man who is born again has passed from death unto life and has become a partaker of eternal life through Christ Jesus.
The rapture of the church is not meant to produce fear in the heart of the believer, but hope, expectation, and readiness. Scripture makes it clear that there is coming a moment when the trumpet shall sound, the dead in Christ shall rise first, and believers who are alive shall be caught up together with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
The focus of the believer should not merely be on trying to understand every prophetic detail, but on being spiritually prepared. Many believers become fearful whenever the subject of the rapture is discussed because deep within, they are uncertain of their walk with God. But the Lord did not call us into fear. He called us into salvation, confidence, and fellowship with Him.
The greatest preparation for the coming of the Lord is not panic, but a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is the foundation. A man who is born again has passed from death unto life and has become a partaker of eternal life through Christ Jesus.
John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” This is why every believer must remain spiritually awake. Do not allow worldly distractions, sin, or spiritual coldness to take away your sensitivity toward God. Live daily with the consciousness that Jesus is coming again.
The return of Christ is not a fable. It is a promise. And just as every prophecy concerning His first coming was fulfilled, His appearing shall also surely come to pass. Therefore, remain steadfast in the faith, walk in the Spirit, and keep your heart burning for the Lord. Glory to God.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Help me to remain watchful, faithful, and steadfast in my walk with You. Keep my heart burning for Your presence and let my life continually reflect readiness for Your appearing, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TITUS 2:11–13 “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”
PHILIPPIANS 3:20–21 “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
