ROMANS 5:16 “And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.”
KEYWORD: When a man truly receives the Word of God and yields himself to the Spirit, there begins to be a gradual weakening of sinful desires and habits.

Feelings of guilt and condemnation do not help a believer overcome bondage. When a person constantly condemns himself, he becomes more trapped in fear, shame, and hopelessness instead of seeing the grace and ability God has made available through Christ.
The truth is that when people come into the understanding that forgiveness and freedom are available in Christ, the power of sin begins to lose its hold over their lives. Grace does not strengthen sin. Rather, it strengthens the believer to walk away from it.
John 8:11 “She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” When the woman caught in adultery was brought before Jesus, He first removed the weight of condemnation before instructing her to leave her sinful life. His words revealed both mercy and truth. He did not excuse sin, but He also did not leave her under the torment of condemnation.
Jesus knew that through His death on the cross, He would bear the punishment and condemnation that sin deserved. Because of this, the believer can now approach God boldly and receive grace for transformation and victory.
When a man truly receives the Word of God and yields himself to the Spirit, there begins to be a gradual weakening of sinful desires and habits. The attraction toward sin starts losing its strength, while the desire to please God and walk in His Word grows stronger daily. This is the liberty found in Christ Jesus. As the Word of grace becomes alive in you, you begin to walk in the reality that “there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” Glory to God!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the fact that the conscience of my heart is alive unto you, because you have implanted the heart of your Spirit in me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
